Applesauce is delicious and so easy to make yourself. Enjoy this yummy, gut-healthy snack that you can make in less than half an hour!
Wash apples, or soak apples in water with one tablespoon white vinegar for at least 5 minutes (this reduces the molds and bacteria that could be on the skin)
Cut up all apples
Put the apple pieces in a pot and fill with enough filtered water to cover 1/3 the height of the apples
Add cinnamon and other spices, mix
Boil apples on medium-high heat, cover, and stir regularly, until skins start to shine (5-10 minutes)
Turn off heat and blend applesauce with an immersion blender
Eat immediately or store your applesauce to enjoy later!
