The bigger-than-Black-Friday event of the year is here! Amazon Prime Day starts NOW. It’s 36 hours of highly discounted bliss, and I’m excited to tell you all about it!
Prime Day starts on Monday, July 16 at 3 pm ET (1 pm mountain time) and ends on Wednesday, July 18 at 3 am ET (1 am mountain time).
I’ve gone through the sale items and picked out the ones that jive with an all-natural lifestyle. I’m hoping to save you some work here- there are a ton of items I’m not recommending because of toxins, chemicals, low ratings, or other issues.

Firstly, if you haven’t already, sign up for Amazon Prime! They’re offering a discounted monthly rate as part of their sales. Right not, you can get Prime for $5.99 a month. That includes free shipping, free streaming on loads of movies and music, and some great discounts!

This year’s best deal
Last year had some epic sales, and 2018 is no different.
One of the best sales is Amazon’s Echo Show. You can save $100 on an Echo starting now, and going through Prime Day! It’s $129.99 instead of $229.99 for a limited time.
The Echo Show has smart speakers and a screen so you can see news updates, lyrics and more.
Make sure to turn off Bluetooth and Wi-fi when you aren’t using it (and especially at night) to avoid any unnecessary EMFs.
The best deals on Amazon Prime Day for healthy living
Not everything is $100 off, but there a ton of fantastic deals happening on Prime Day! I’ve looked through the offerings to pick out the best ones to support a healthy lifestyle.
These are all 20-30% off, and they don’t include toxins or chemicals or anything that would be harmful to bring into your house. I got your back… I’ve gone through all of these and made sure they’re things I recommend and approve of.
For example, I skipped over all the pillows, curtains, and bedding, because none of them are made of organic materials. They’d off-gas and create toxins that you’d breathe in. And most of the toys for babies were plastic, which leaches toxins when kids chew on them. Pass on that!
There was also toxic sunscreen, and some foods with fake or harmful ingredients. I’ve already eliminated these products so you don’t have to dig through them!

Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Skin Ointment– Super clean ingredients in this one! It’s just natural plant-based products and beeswax. Perfect for nourishing your skin!
Nourish Organic Moisturizing Face Lotion– With argan and rosewater, and no toxic or unnatural ingredients, this lightweight face lotion helps to smooth out your skin tone and texture while hydrating your face! Looks wonderful.
Amazon Elements Men’s One Daily Multivitamin – this multivitamin goes through third-party testing for heavy metals, toxins, and more. It’s a 2-month supply that comes from whole foods. It’s vegan, free of allergens, and has 21 vitamins and minerals, as well as 7 botanicals from seeds, berries, and more.
For women, there’s the Amazon Elements Women’s One Daily Multivitamin– Like the above, this is a 2-month supply. There’s also a 40+ Women’s Multivitamin to support women over the age of 40.
120 and 365 count 50mg Zinc Tablets – Zinc helps support the immune system and antioxidant activity. Lots of us are deficient and need a zinc supplement, or you can just take it when your immune system needs a boost. This supplement has no artificial colors or flavors, and it’s gluten- and lactose-free.
Electronics
AmazonBasics USB Conference Microphone – I used to work at a job where this would have been so nice to have. It looks perfect for classrooms, group chats, and more.
AmazonBasics Desktop Mini Condenser Microphone – Go ahead and start that podcast you’ve always dreamed of! This mic has great ratings and looks like a simple option for high-quality recordings.
Tip: With any new electronic devices, you should leave them out in the sun for a couple hours when you first get them. This will help any toxins from flame retardant or other coatings of chemicals to off-gas, making them less harmful to you when you have them nearby.
Food and grocery
Amazonfresh Just Bright coffee – Mmmm coffee. Amazon’s brand also has decaf, whole bean, medium roast, and other choices! I think I’d go for the Columbia Whole Bean Coffee.
I like whole bean coffee because coffee tastes best when it’s freshly ground. If you don’t have a burr coffee grinder, which is the best for a consistent grind size, they’ve got one of those coming out on sale for Prime Day too!
Note: Amazon has at least two coffee choices (vanilla and hazelnut) that are artificially flavored- aka packed with chemicals. Don’t go for those. It says “artificially flavored” right on the front of the package, so you don’t need to worry about scouring the ingredients for fake flavoring!
Organic tea – Wickedly Prime Organic Mango Oolong Full-Leaf Tea just sounds heavenly. They also have an Organic Mate Tea, an herbal tea, and black pu’erh tea. You could use any of these when making your own kombucha!
purely elizabeth Superfood Granola Bar– WOW, the ingredients in this! Chocolate sea salt, grain-free, non-GMO, vegan superfoods don’t get much better than this.
Home & kitchen
Instant Pot DUO60- The Instant Pot was the biggest hit last year for Prime Day, and it’s back this year! Get it for 40% off while the deal lasts!
Presto! Biobased laundry detergent packs– This detergent is free of dyes, fragrances, and the petroleum byproducts that make up conventional laundry detergents.
AmazonBasics Foldable Drying Rack – the dryer is another place where toxins can be common. To avoid the nasty pollutants found in dryer sheets, you can go for other options- but why not just air dry?
AmazonBasics 16-Piece Cafe Stripe Dinnerware Set – This is a great opportunity to move away from plastic plates and cups. With this set, you can reduce your use of plastic and the chemicals that come with it! For more ideas on using less plastic, click here.
AmazonBasics 65-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set – Time to upgrade your utensils? This set makes me want to get married all over again so I can put it on my registry. It’s scalloped, elegant, and serves 12!
AmazonBasics Stainless Steel Electric Kettle – another must for healthy living, because how else would you have your tea and make kombucha? My electric kettle was one of my favorite items I owned while living in the dorms in college.
There are loads of cool looking throw pillows too… And I love a good throw pillow! Just be aware that if you buy one, you’ll want to set it outside in the sun for a couple hours to let it off-gas.
Lots of times furniture and decor is sprayed with flame retardant, and even just polyester and other fabrics (that are derived from petroleum) can release toxins.
Let take your new pillow out of the packaging and let it chill outside for a while to decrease your exposure to toxins!
Sports, travel, and outdoors

AmazonBasics Medicine Ball – Exercise is another critical component of healthy living, and you don’t need to rely on a gym! With just a few items like kettlebells, straps, and medicine balls, you can create a home workout routine to keep you fit.
AmazonBasics Hardside Spinner Luggage – Traveling is good for the soul. This light blue, 20-Inch suitcase would be perfect as a carry-on. It is super durable, and has great ratings so you know it’s gotta be good!
